Advantages of Cheap Promotional Products

Cheap promotional products can be an excellent way to market your company. Promotional products, in case you don’t know, are products that are printed (or embroidered or whatever) with your company name and logo, and sometimes your contact information. When you buy inexpensive promotional products for distribution, you are basically using the average person’s love of "freebies" in order to market your business.
For example, say you distribute 1,000 pens. You give them to local businesses to use at their cash registers, hand them out to customers in your store, and give them out like candy at a local business convention. Each of those 1,000 pens will be seen or handled by at least one person, if not 5 or 10 or more (particularly the ones you left at local stores). Each time someone sees your pen, that is yet another potential customer you have reached.
Another advantage of using cheap promotional products is the branding of products. Branding is when your company name is so familiar to the market, that most people think of your specific brand when they hear the product name. A great example is "Kleenex," which has come to be used interchangeably with "tissue," and "Xerox," for which the branding was so successful that the company name is actually used as a verb ("I’ll need to Xerox this first").
There are a number of companies that sell promotional products to small and large businesses. For example, Adcentives west is a Utah-based company that has been making promotional products since the mid-1970s.
