A good friend of mine from London moved to Washington DC recently and one of the first things that she did was to look up Washington D C cosmetic dentistry. When she met with the dentist to discuss the services that were available to her, he wanted to first talk about the goals of cosmetic dentistry. He cited the goals as including:

• Repair of the cosmetic problems that are obvious with the teeth. For example, this would include Washington DC teeth veneers for chipped or stained teeth.
• Enhancement of the aesthetic beauty of the teeth through treatments like teeth whitening.
• Increase the self-esteem of the patient through improving the appearance of the teeth.
• Maintain the comfort of the patient during the procedure. No one likes being worked on by a dentist no matter what the reason is.

All of these goals sounded perfect to my friend so she was happy to start her treatments right away. After all, what she’d wanted in the first place was just to get her teeth looking nice again!
