Simulating Real Combat
By Value in Society | 0 comments
Airsoft has to be one of the most exciting games on the planet. It resembles real combat, and whenever you are playing it, you can feel your adrenaline pumping. I tell you – sometimes when I’m sitting back with my Airsoft sniper rifles, hiding behind a bush, I can feel the sweat pouring down my neck, known that at any moment someone may come out from behind a tree and get me from behind.
And I’m not going to lie. Those things can hurt. But that’s why the sport is so much fun – no matter how much it hurts, it can’t kill anyone, and the pain only makes you want to avoid the pellets more. When you play Airsoft, you really play – you don’t horse around unless you want to have a bunch of painful welts on your skin. I gladly hold up my dead man’s rag when I’m hit. God knows I don’t want to be hit again unless I have to be.
Occasionally we pick up our Tokyo Marui pistols and do street games, but usually we do military simulations instead. They get the adrenaline pumping a bit more, especially because they tend to take place in more hidden areas.
Regardless, Airsoft has to be one of the greatest inventions of all time.
